The CDTI invests over 18 million euros for R + D + i business

The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) has approved 36 new R + D + i with a total budget amounting to 24.1 million euros. The CDTI will provide 18.8 million euros driving, so the R & D + i.

In the development of these projects involved 34 companies, of which 65 percent are SMEs, and of these, 36 percent belong to sectors of medium and high technology. Of all the companies involved, 13, ie 38 percent, received, for the first time, funding CDTI.

The CDTI estimated that the sum of these initiatives will employ 52 workers directly and up to 133 indirect workers. In total, 185 employed in the overall economy.

Projects co-FEDER

In this Council, the CDTI has approved 12 projects co-financed with funds from the new round -Programme 2014-2020 ERDF Operational Pluri-Regional Growth intelligently, whose public contribution (CDTI + ERDF) amounts to 3.8 million euros. Of these, 7 are «more developed regions» and 5 to «transition regions» as defined by ERDF.

Operating Pluri-Regional Smart Growth Program allows the CDTI increase the non-refundable portion to 20 percent for all projects with co-financing of this program, regardless of the size of the beneficiary.
