Objectives.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This call consists of two programs:<\/p>\n

Aid program for the promotion of patent applications and utility models abroad: Support focuses on subsidizing activities that presuppose costs by paying rate in the respective countries according to a reference amounts set out in the call for each type of activity in a country or group of countries, as well as subsidizing the completion of the translation into the language of the country in which the extension is made.<\/p>\n

Aid program for the promotion of patent applications and Spanish utility models for SMEs and individuals aimed at stimulating domestic protection technology through patents or utility models in order to improve the competitiveness of small and medium companies and individuals, such aids are concentrated on subsidizing patent applications and Spanish utility models that involve the payment of a fee.<\/p>\n

Eligible facts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spanish patents and utility models:<\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. a) Be an individual,<\/li>\n
  2. b) Be considered small or medium enterprises (SMEs) that have made directly or through a third party representative any of the following activities:<\/li>\n
  3. a) request from a Spanish utility model.<\/li>\n
  4. b) the application and implementation of the search for prior report on the State of the Art (IET) for applications for Spanish patents.<\/li>\n
  5. c) the application for a priority Spanish Patent PCT international application whose International Search Report (IBI) has been performed prior to the Report on the State dela Technology (IET).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Patents and utility models abroad:<\/em><\/p>\n

    The applicant must have made directly or through a third party representative patent application and \/ or utility model abroad, using the national route in different countries, the European way through the provisions of the Convention on the Granting of European patents, or via the patent Cooperation Treaty as long as the right of unionist priority bring cause of a patent application or utility model filed with the SPTO, bring cause of a PCT international application filed with the SPTO, as Receiving Office or that the case of such an international PCT application, or bring because of a European patent application filed with the SPTO or question of this European application filed with the SPTO.<\/p>\n

    Amount of aid.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Spanish patents and utility models:<\/em><\/p>\n

    The grant may not exceed 90%.<\/p>\n

    Patents and utility models abroad:<\/em><\/p>\n

    The translation of the full reports of applications for patents or utility models shall be supported by a reference amount of 700 euros for translation of each patent application translated and presented. Only one language and translation priority application was eligible. In any case the translation of the PCT application will be subsidized for international search or preliminary examination in an office other than the SPTO. The grant may not exceed 80%. If the applicant is considered small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) or is an individual, the grant may not exceed 90%.<\/p>\n
