Grants for development of R&D and job creation

The purpose of the grants regulated here is the promotion of development of R&D in enterprises and the creation of quality employment and the achievement of a group of graduates specially trained to manage R&D through appropriate training.

These aids will help to provide funding to the entity performing or want to carry out R&D for hiring technologists who carry them out. Forming the technologist must perform compulsory for recruitment for the aid and to maintain this contract during its execution is also financed.

 

Grants

Grants regulated here will finance, in whole or in part, the following actions:

  • a) Incorporation by means of contract personnel for the execution of R&D at national or international level.
  • b) Training to seek improvement and acquisition of knowledge and techniques suitable for obtaining a specialization in management of R&D.

 

Obligations of beneficiaries

  • a) Hire the technologist selected by employment contract.
  • b) Make available facilities and material resources necessary for the normal development of their work and guarantee the rights and benefits enjoyed by the other workers of similar category.
  • c) Inform the instructor organ about the incidents, such waivers, and other interruptions that occur both in relation to the labor contract with compulsory training as objects of assistance.
  • d) Inform the instructor organ about any cause of incompatibility.
  • e) Inform the instructor organ about obtaining other aid bound for the employment contract and / or the compulsory training that is associated, once they become aware of its existence.
  • f) Request training aid on behalf of hired technologist.
  • g) To allow and facilitate the technologist, with due diligence, conducting mandatory training, making available all necessary means (classroom training days, hours and means for on-line training, etc.).

 

Characteristics of the contracts under aid for hiring

  1. The contract for which the aid will be formalized by the contracting beneficiary being in all its aspects (formalization, execution and termination) subject to Spanish labor legislation at the time of recruitment.
  2. Aid borne wholly or partially, the costs on staff recruitment. The gross annual remuneration may not be less than the minimum wage. To this end, the contract must specify explicitly the annual gross remuneration technologist and possible revision clauses thereof.
  3. The minimum duration of the contract shall conform to the period of implementation of the aid. The implementation period of the aid will have a minimum duration of 12 months from their start date. The maximum duration of the contract is not subject to restrictions and may have indefinite character.
  4. The contract must be full-time in accordance with existing labor legislation at the time of recruitment and exclusively to the realization of the R + D + I to be identified in the decision granting aid dedication. These activities correspond to those detailed in the request made by the contracting entity, or are excluded those made for other companies. However, you can adapt the duration and distribution of working hours to realize the right of workers to reconcile personal, family and professional life in the terms established in the Organic Law 3/2007 of March 22, Equality and Law 39/1999 of November 5, the reconciliation of work and family life.
  5. The professional category of the contract shall be that corresponding to the degree that recorded in the decision to grant aid, which in turn coincide with the qualifications required by the beneficiary in the professional profile with their request and gave rise to the award of aid.
  6. The technologist may not appear in any other contract related to employment or professional services agreements.
  7.  The employment contract at issue here must pick between their clauses obligation technologist to perform and exceed the mandatory training subject of these grants.

 

The duration and the curriculum will have the following characteristics

  • a) The training will take approximately 265 hours of teaching. The first 40 hours modality and the rest in on-line mode.
  • b) The curriculum will focus on issues related to management of R + D + I including aspects of the strategic value of innovation, R + D + I in response to the great challenges of society, internationalization and preparation of proposals for participation in international R + D + I, in particular the Framework Programme for R + D + I of the European Union (Horizon 2020) or knowledge management: grants, patents, quality and monitoring technology, among others.
  • c) The training center will promote, wherever appropriate for the contracting entity, that training covers certain aspects that are of interest to the R + D + I technologist performing the contract.

 

Characteristics of grants for recruitment

Aids for the recruitment will be granted for complete annuities. They will last for 12, 24 or 36 consecutive months and uninterrupted, the first year necessarily match the first year of the announcement.

The maximum amount to finance this call is € 100 million.
