This call aims to grant-making in regime of competitive concurrence by the Asturian Institute for prevention of occupational hazards (in later IAPRL), industrial research, technological development and innovation (R&D) in the field of the prevention of occupational risks.
Eligible projects
The following projects will be eligible:
(a) development of analytical methods for the determination of chemical agents.
(b) studies for the substitution of hazardous chemicals in the workplace by others that are not or they are to a lesser degree.
(c) design of protection mechanisms, devices, procedures, and work with favorable impact teams on the protection of the safety and health of workers.
(d) development of original methodologies for ergonomic hazards and psychosocial assessment. Except for the applications or computer developments of existing methods.
(e) studies for the reduction of the influence on the health of workers from physical agents present in the working environment.
They are eligible R&D activities defined in the standard UNE 166000:2006 as follows:
Research Industrial or applied: the aimed to acquire new knowledge with a view to exploit them in the development of new processes or products, or to substantiate significant improvements of products or processes existing. Technological development: the application of the results of research or any other kind of knowledge. Scientist for the manufacture of new materials or products or for the design of new processes or systems
production, as well as for the substantial technological improvement of materials, products, processes or systems
pre-existing.
Innovation: the activity whose result is a technological breakthrough in the obtaining of new products or processes
production or substantially significant improvements of existing ones.
The total amount of the call for proposals amounts to the sum of €75.000,00
