Object of funding
Preparation and submission of bids for the design, development and operation of large national and international Scientific and Technological Installations, in which the Spanish State participates or contributes (among others, CERN, ITER-F4E / IO / Broader Approach-, ESO, CTA , ESRF, ILL, FAIR, XFEL, ESA, EUMETSAT, ALBA Synchrotron, GRANTECAN, ESS or SKA).
Characteristics of the aid
APO aid is configured as non-refundable aid when the Spanish corporation is not awarded in the tender, provided the budget of the offer of the Spanish company does not exceed by more than 25% to the winner of the tender.
APO aid is configured as repayable assistance in the following cases:
– When the Spanish company is awarded the contract
– When the Spanish company is not awarded the contract and the budget of its bid is higher by more than 25% of the company that is awarded the contract
– When the Spanish company is excluded from the tender did not meet the minimum technical requirements.
APO aid is loans with interest rate Euribor to a year. The loan interest will accrue from the time of disposal. The payment thereof shall be conducted jointly with the repayment of principal, at 6 months from the date of award of the supply contract or disbursement of aid from the CDTI.
The validity of this aid is indefinite. The announcement and award of APO’s aid is subject to the availability of funds.
Amount of aid
The amount of aid varies between 3,000 and 30,000 euros, depending on the characteristics of the solicitation.
Application date
Companies can apply for the grant of aid from the opening APO deadline for submission of bids by a Great Scientific-Technological Installation up to 30 days after the official closing of the tender by the large facility.
Companies must accompany the application for assistance APO A copy of the tender offer presented on the large installation,
acknowledgment by the same or by recorded delivery, supply conditions by the large installation, and if necessary travel documents.
