Eureka projects are characterized by resulting in a product, process or service innovative market-oriented consequence of technological cooperation of the participants.

Eureka projects are characterized by resulting in a product, process or service innovative market-oriented consequence of technological cooperation of the participants.
The project must have independent business participants from both countries and should be relevant to all partners (no country should have more than 70% of budget)
It allows projects to make use of any technology area and commercial implementation, however the following industrial areas are prioritized: Biotechnology and Health, Renewable Energy and Environment, Smart Cities, Transport, Information Technology and Communications Technologies Nano and materials, Production Technologies, Space.
The results should have civil order.
The budget must be consistent with developments to make and technical / financial capacity of participants.
Participants must sign a consortium agreement specifying the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the development made and possible intellectual property rights, exploitation and commercialization of the results.
Project Duration: The duration of these projects may be 12 to 36 months. In the case to be framed in multilateral or bilateral call, as terms of reference of this.
Project budget: The minimum eligible budget per participant Spanish company is € 175,000.
National funding of the Spanish participants in these projects, after obtaining the seal or recognition of the international dimension, should be requested by each participant individually by an R & D individually.
