The HAZITEK 2020 call is one of the most anticipated by companies in the Basque Country, a call in the form of a subsidy that, in addition to strengthening and increasing the importance and value of R & D & I in the Basque Country, favors the creation of new jobs and the internal development of technology-based companies.
Applications can be submitted until March 12, 2020
Hazitek 2020 finances Industrial Research or Experimental Development projects, with the main objective of strengthening the Basque industry through business R&D, contributing decisively to the global competitiveness of the Basque productive fabric and generating results with significant economic impact potential.
What projects are the HAZITEK 2020 call for?
On the one hand, projects of a competitive nature, for the development of original products and superior to those already existing. In addition, the typologies of “new products” and “new companies of scientific and technological base” are distinguished. The call has an incentive character, and the eligible expenses are subsidizing from the application date up to 12/31/2020, and must have a minimum eligible budget of € 100,000. On the other hand, projects of a strategic nature, to create new useful knowledge to obtain new or better products, processes or services, as well as integrate new technologies of a strategic nature, create new patents and scientific-technological-based companies (NEBTs). And the eligible expenses are subsidized from the application date, until 12/31/2022 (maximum duration of 3 years), with a minimum budget of € 4M.
Who are the beneficiaries of Hazitek 2020?
The main beneficiaries of these grants are:
Groupings and business associations
Companies (large companies and SMEs)
The Agents of the Basque Network of Technology and Innovation (as subcontractors, or beneficiaries only for competitive – launching of new companies of scientific and technological base (NEBTs).
In the collaborative projects two typologies are distinguished: 1) the cooperative projects, formed by a minimum of 3 companies, and a minimum of subcontracting to the RVCTI agents of 20% of the total budget presented, or 2) the singular projects, where They can choose projects that do not meet the above conditions.
What is the intensity of the aid?
