Measure 1. Improvement of technology in industrial equipment and processes.
Investments in substitution of equipment and installations, as well as auxiliary energy-consuming systems with others that use high energy efficiency technologies or the best available technology in order to reduce final energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Measure 2. Implementation of energy management systems.
The improvement of energy efficiency, due to the implementation of an energy management system, must include the necessary actions, both at the level of measurement of the energy consumption variables, and for the installation of the elements of regulation and control of the parameters of process and implementation of computer systems for analysis, regulation and control, as well as for the optimal operation of the installation, reduction of final energy consumption and costs, reduction of emissions and to provide information quickly and accurately, necessary for the management of the installation.
Eligible investment: Investment directly related to energy saving and efficiency, that is, the part of the total investment dedicated to implementing efficient technology. This investment must be justified by a broken down budget (offers of supplies to be made with full description of the equipment to be installed). Therefore, own costs (personnel, operation or general expenses) will not be considered eligible. The VAT supported may be eligible provided it is not susceptible to recovery or compensation.
Eligible cost: Those that are necessary to achieve the energy objectives of this Program that may include, among others, the following concepts: the preparation of technical projects related to the actions, the costs of optional management, the costs of execution of the work civil provided that it does not exceed 20% of the eligible investment and the installation of the facilities, where appropriate, the necessary equipment, materials and auxiliary facilities, transportation costs, technical assistance and all those necessary as established by regulations in force that prove to be directly linked to the execution of the project, as well as the costs necessary for the legalization of the facilities and the obtaining of the required licenses in the different phases of the project, both of the professional associations and of the different administrations affected.
