The 12th edition of the European Sustainable Energy Week will take place in Brussels from 19 to 25 June 2017 to promote energy savings and renewables and will be complemented by two series of events that will take place throughout Europe for two months.
This year’s theme is “Clean Energy for All Europeans” inspired by the European Commission’s package of proposals to place consumers and growth at the heart of the transition towards sustainable energy. During the various sessions organized by the European Commission, key energy actors will discuss development policies, good practices, initiatives and ideas to support Europe on its way to clean, safe and efficient energy as part of the Energy and the weather.
The Executive Agency for SMEs (EASME) will lead three sessions aimed at SMEs and consumers, one focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs as key contributors to the transition towards a European Union for Energy in Europe. That will provide practical support explaining the opportunities for financing and support for SMEs as well as future market niches and opportunities for small entrepreneurs.
