What does it consist on?
The aid is aimed at stimulating and encouraging the performance of actions that reduce carbon dioxide emissions and final energy consumption, by improving energy efficiency in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country.
The actions subject to assistance may not have been initiated prior to the date of registration of the aid application.
This call has two types of actions:
Action 1: Improvement of technology in industrial equipment and processes.
The objective of this measure is to reduce final energy consumption in SMEs and large companies in the industrial sector, by improving technology in industrial equipment and processes.
Action 2: Implementation of certified energy management systems in companies that are not large energy consumers.
This action aims to promote investments for the implementation of energy management systems in order to reduce the final energy consumption and CO2 emissions of industrial facilities.
What can you subsidize?
Eligible costs are those expenses necessary to achieve the energy objectives of this program that may include, among others, the following concepts:
The development of technical projects related to the actions, the costs of optional management
The costs of execution of civil works provided that it does not exceed 20% of the eligible investment
The assembly facilities
The necessary equipment, materials and auxiliary facilities
The technical assistance costs
The necessary costs that prove to be directly linked to the execution of the project.
What is the amount of the aid?
The maximum amount of the aid will be, for each of the applications, the lesser of the following three:
30% of the project’s eligible investment
For energy efficiency actions, the maximum amount will be:
Large company: 30%
Medium business: 40%
Small business: 50%
For Action 1 an amount of € 1,000,000 and for Action 2 an amount of € 30,000
Each beneficiary may not exceed the total amount of aid of € 1,000,000 for the set of applications submitted. The minimum eligible amount for each action, for both type 1 and type 2, will be € 3,000.
How long can I request help?
The deadline for submitting applications will begin on September 30, 2019.
Until December 31, 2020
